Christian Education Ministry
The mission of the Christian Education Ministry is to do the work of the Great Commission as given in Matthew 28:19, 20. It is the ministry of the church that gives fundamental support to all other ministries.
The purpose of the Christian Education Ministry is to impart life-changing knowledge of God to individuals of all ages so that the Kingdom of God is ”Advanced through Salvation, Liberation, and Restoration with Excellence.” We glorify God by teaching from the Bible and other supporting materials. Our prayer is that participants will learn through a structured study about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and, therefore, live a victorious Christian life.

The Christian Education Ministry Objectives are:
to commit to Spiritual Enrichments the foundational strategy to do the work of the Great Commission. (Colossians 3:23, 24). The foundational strategy is to do the work of the Great Commission;

to build Kingdom Leaders (Mark.10:43-45). As the Kingdom grows, more leaders will be needed;

To develop Soul Winners (2Timothy. 2:1, 2). We must be accountable for readily sharing Christ with others;
To win the Lost (Romans 10:13, 14). Teach every lesson evangelistically, not assuming all are saved;

to each to Transform (Philippians.4:9). Using the Bible as our textbook, we teach to move people beyond information and inspiration to transformation. Being transformed into the likeness of Christ should be every believer’s goal.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry
P-purposeful, R-redemptive, A-action, Y– yielding, E-eternal, R-results
The mission of the Intercessory Prayer Ministry is to Intercede, Encourage, Inspire and Connect people to Christ through Prayer. We strive to “Advance the Kingdom of God through Salvation, Liberation, and Restoration with Excellence,” by initiating a lifestyle of prayer and a deeper relationship with God. We are committed to providing continuous prayer coverage and support for the needs of our Pastor, our Leadership, Church Body and Community

New Members Ministry
The mission of the New Members Ministry is “to perpetuate spiritual growth and church assimilation through teaching, guidance, and fellowship.” Our purpose is to provide a warm and welcoming greeting that assists joiners in their decisions for salvation and church membership, and informs them of the protocols of Second Calvary Baptist Church.

Spiritual Enrichment Hour Ministry
The purpose of the Spiritual Enrichment Hour Ministry on Sunday mornings is to guide families and individuals of all ages, through structured classes, to learn more about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our goal is to give each learner fundamental knowledge of Who Jesus is, and what it means to follow Him, allowing him or her to have a life-changing experience that “Advances the Kingdom of God through Salvation, Liberation, and Restoration with Excellence.”

Vacation Bible School Ministry
The purpose of the Vacation Bible School Ministry is to lead families and individuals of all ages through worship and fundamental Bible study lessons, into the knowledge of and faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our goal is to engage people in the Gospel, in an atmosphere of compassion and fellowship, so that we “Advance the Kingdom of God through Salvation, Liberation, and Restoration with Excellence.”
