The aim of the Youth Ministry is to develop our youth into becoming ‘Mature Youth in Christ’ so they can be equipped to Advance the Kingdom of God. We seek to prepare our youth for life in Christ by developing the whole person through education, discipleship, and evangelism, while providing healthy ministries through worship and recreation.

ADULT TO YOUTH MALE MENTORING GROUP
The purpose of this ministry is to provide adult male role models and social support to young males of Second Calvary in the form of a mentoring program. The Adult Male to Youth Male Mentoring Group exists to provide Christ-centered support to the young males of the church. This ministry will develop programs that encourage and help each child to reach his full potential.

GIRLS MENTORING GROUP
The purpose of the Girls Mentoring Group, in light of the mission of SCBC, is to develop girls into true young women of God, by teaching them biblical principles that are applicable to their daily walk. Our goal as leaders is to lead by example and to promote moral values, self-esteem, self-respect, and discipleship. Our objective is to prepare our youth for life in Christ, by developing the whole person through education, discipleship and evangelism, while providing healthy ministries through worship and recreation.

NURSERY MINISTRY
The purpose of the Kennedy Care Center is: to help each child experience a loving, sharing, and Christian atmosphere; to help each child develop a sharing, loving, and giving attitude; to help each child learn age appropriate verses; to hear Bible stories that aide them in becoming more like Christ. We seek to ensure the safety and well- being of all toddlers, to prevent any unfortunate misunderstanding or accidents, and to maintain consistency and expectation for babies, toddlers, parents, and volunteers. We adhere to all health rules; maintain an environment where babies will be safe and happy; and uphold all requirements to be a volunteer within the Nursery Ministry. Our objectives are to develop an environment where the love of Christ is nurtured; to guarantee every parent that their child is in a place where the fundamentals of Christ are shared in a pleasant setting.
